“When Brooks Atwood got the callback to be a contestant on last
season’s hit reality series HGTV Star, he obsessively screened the previous season in two days’ time…then completely freaked out.
“I had never seen the show,” he confessed recently, describing his experiences on the interior design competition/reality show, a sort of Project Runway, elimination-style series for the art and design world.
“And as I watched the previous seven episodes with my wife, I thought ‘What have I done?’ It was the craziest, most exciting show I had ever seen, and I was extremely nervous.””
