Issey Miyake flagship store NYC, 10 year redux
It’s a 10 year redux
On the eve of it’s 10 year anniversary and getting ready for Mr. Miyake to drop by, Brooks Atwood Design was charged with a tune-up of all the fixtures, glass and display carts.
Who better? We love stainless steel, glass and rubber! We came up with an ingenious solution to never have to refill the tires with air again and everything was handled with minimal disruption during retail hours, on time and on budget for the big celebration.
The store was designed by G TECTS and features a titanium sculpture designed by Frank Gehry as the center piece.
